Creative Inking Blog Hop- Showing Off The Pretties!

Hello Friends!  So glad you could join us for the June 2016 Creative Inking Blog Hop!  Our theme for this month is Showing Off the Pretties.  We picked our favorite items from the new Stampin' Up! 2016-2017 catalog!  That was a tough one!  I LOVE everything in the new catalog!  So many cool and pretty things! I finally decided to showcase a stamp set that I loved from the first time I saw it!  It's called Bella and Friends (141870).  This set was inspired by Angie Juda, a $1 million achiever with Stampin' Up!  Her dog's name is Bella.

I made these two cards for loved ones in a nursing home recovering from a car accident. I tried to make one feminine and the other more masculine.  I love to watercolor. So I used my Aqua Painter along with my ink pads in Calypso Coral, Smoky Slate and Pool Party.  These colors are so pretty together.

                                                                                                                            

I used the adorable A Little Foxy Designer Series 6 x 6 paper pad (141637). The new Layering Circle Framelits (141705) helped me cut out perfect matts and scalloped circles for my focal pieces. 

 I used the new stamp set, Badges and Banners (141610), along with the matching punch, Duet Banner (141483), for my greeting.

I couldn't help myself and went over the whole watercolored background with my clear Wink of Stella(141897).
