Hello Everyone! Welcome to the second monthly Creative Inking Blog Hop! Our theme this month is "Spring has Sprung." I'm not sure what the weather is in your neck of the woods, but here in New England, it is COLD! I don't think Spring will ever be sprung! When I was thinking of what to make, I thought I could use something in my stamp room to brighten up the winter doldrums. I am a huge fan of the box card. It can be used as a décor piece, or it can be folded and sent to someone special.
What do you think? I was so excited when it all came together. I wanted the outside of the box itself to be somewhat monochromatic. I used Coastal Cabana and Best Year Ever DSP. I stamped the flowers in some bright springy colors with the Flower Patch stamp set. It was so easy to cut them out with Flower Flair Thinlits and my Big Shot. I attached the flowers with some glue dots onto thin strips of window sheet. I used a cute button and some twine along with Basic Pearls and Candy Dots. The finishing touch was a dainty bow made with the Bow Builder Punch.
Here's what it looks like on my desk
Thank you so much for stopping by. I'd love to know what you think. Click the cute buttons below to either go forward or back. Have a great day and wish for Spring!

Oh Kristine- I'm in upstate New York- so I can appreciate your wish for spring- I'm with you! Your box card full of flowers is truly a welcome splash of bright color- and hopefully will bring us some spring-time weather soon, right? Sorry I'm late to the game leaving a comment... but better late than never, right?
